Your remortgage questions, answered
When should I start reviewing my mortgage?
You should start reviewing your mortgage 3-6 months before your current deal ends. Starting early ensures you won't revert to your lender's higher Standard Variable Rate, and gives you time to secure a new rate before any unforeseeen rate rises.
Do I have to change lenders?
No. We will review all your options and compare what your current lender offers you as an existing client versus what other lenders have on offer for you to switch to.
Will remortgaging reduce my payments?
Possibly. It depends on what your current interest rate is and what mortgage products are available now for you to switch to.
Can I borrow more for home improvements?
You may be able to borrow additional funds for home improvements. It will depend on your circumstances, and we will be happy to explore this option for you.
